CCM-2026 — The Digital Revolution in Protective Coating 4.0
The programme outline is designed for professionals engaged in inspection, maintenance, construction, design, corrosion control, operation etc., in
The industrial landscape is shifting from reactive maintenance to predictive data-driven asset preservation. This intensive training program is designed to bridge the critical gap between traditional coating practices and the next generation of corrosion control. Participants will be the first to uncover a ground-breaking technological evolution that replaces static paper reports with a living, digital integrity framework and new advance coating technology.
By leveraging AI and Digital Twin technology, this session demonstrates how to mitigate corrosion by predicting failures before they occur. We explore how the industry is moving toward a "Performance-as-a-Service" model to guarantee asset life and ROI. This is an essential competency upgrade for any corrosion & coating professional seeking to remain relevant in this transition.
There will be invited lectures by eminent experts from industry, R&D, and academia.
Learn from industry leaders, researchers, and academic experts covering the latest advances in corrosion control and monitoring.
Participants will gain hands-on, actionable knowledge across four key competency areas.
Gain technical insight into next-generation, high-solids, and eco-friendly coating systems engineered for extreme chemical and high-temperature exposures.
Gain technical insight into use of digital twin technology to implement automated framework for sit-specific coating design and predictive models and close loop system that improves and optimize autonomously. Understand the transition to a Risk-Based Inspection (RBI) model that prioritizes high risk assets through a closed-loop digital verification system.
Accelerated corrosion testing is used to quickly evaluate the protective performance of coatings and to compare the effectiveness of different coatings under harsh environmental conditions.

AMPP represents the largest global community of corrosion and protective coatings professionals. Our members are dedicated to advancing technical and practical expertise in corrosion prevention and control. AMPP provides members with the knowledge and resources to ensure high performance materials are used to build and maintain sustainable infrastructure. AMPP protects infrastructure and assets worldwide through member and workforce education and credentialing, company accreditation, technological innovation, and global standardization. www.ampp.org
The AMPP Gujarat Chapter was established on September 19, 2024, and has been officially recognized as part of AMPP's global framework. The chapter will serve as an active branch of AMPP, dedicated to promoting corrosion awareness, protection, and control within Gujarat. Its primary focus will be on the regions of Gujarat, Rajasthan, and parts of Maharashtra. Gujarat, a key manufacturing hub in India, is renowned for its chemical, petrochemical, refinery, and engineering industries. By addressing the unique needs of these sectors, the chapter will offer specialized training in corrosion control techniques. Through its activities, the AMPP Gujarat Chapter aims to foster knowledge sharing and collaboration among professionals, strengthening its impact on both national and international levels.
IIM is an organization with a proud past and an exciting future, being one of the largest and most prestigious associations of scientists, engineers, technologists, academicians, managers and industrialists in the field of metallurgy and materials engineering in India IIM, . The Institute has grown into a reputed Institution devoted to promotion and advancement in the study, practice and research of Metallurgical Science and Technology. The Indian Institute of Metals is now recognized throughout the world as one of the premier metallurgical organizations. Baroda Chapter is one of the oldest chapters of IIM, established in 1971 in the premises of Metallurgical & Materials Engineering Dept, Faculty of the Tech. & Engg, The M S University of Baroda, and Vadodara. The two main objectives of IIM are: promoting and advancing the science and technology of metals and alloys and protecting the interests of metallurgists and metallurgical industry. The activities of the Institute include organizing national and international technical conferences and programmes, research activities, publications, conducting qualifying examinations etc. Almost all the activities are carried out through the Honorary services of the Office-bearers, Council Members, Chapter Chairmen, Secretaries and Treasurers as well as a large number of Institute members.
